Sassafras Catering is a small, professional, well-respected business in Portland, Oregon. It is our goal to ensure the very best attention to detail and quality in everything we do.

We have over eight years of experience catering wedding receptions, dinner parties, corporate events, cocktail parties, and many other similar events.

Our mission is to create unique, flavorful dishes that are in harmony with the seasons and the environment. We choose produce that is local and organic whenever possible, and base our menus on foods that are in their peak season in order to serve the highest quality ingredients. Ideally, we like to meet personally with prospective customers to plan your unique event. It is our policy to create a formal written proposal for your approval and then proceed with booking the event. Once a proposal has been formally accepted, an event will then be considered officially booked on our calendar.

Our customer's peace of mind is our highest priority, and because of this our management is always available leading up to your event to answer any questions. We have many client references and we can always show examples of events we have catered.
