Farmer Cards

We take food sourcing very seriously, because we believe that where ingredients come from is one of the most important factors in creating not only delicious food but also a sustainable business.

We strive to visit the farms we buy from as well as get to know the farmers who grow the food. Also, we are big fans and supporters of Friends of Family Farmers, which is dedicated to providing a viable livelihood for family farmers in Oregon.

We also want to share with guests of our events where their food is sourced from, so we have designed “farmer cards” (see image at right) that we place on buffets and guest tables that give an overview of the ingredients farmers grow, where their farm is located, and a little about the farmers themselves.

Recently, we even created a farmer card for a bride’s parents who grew the potatoes for the potato salad at their home, the same place as the wedding site!
